Trace Adkins is certain to be one of the fan favorites at the just-announced Taste of Country Music Festival. The rough-hewn country star with a heart of gold is a favorite of both men and women due to his mix of hardcore country rock anthems and tender ballads.

Since his 1996 debut album 'Dreamin' Out Loud' placed two hit singles -- 'Every Light in the House' and the No. 1 smash '(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing' -- Adkins has charted more than 20 hit singles on the Billboard charts, and all but one of his studio albums has gone Gold or Platinum. His 2005 'Songs About Me' album featured the tongue-in-cheek hit 'Honky Tonk Badonkadonk' and was certified multi-Platinum, while his most recent ninth studio album -- 'Cowboy's Back in Town' in 2010 -- continued his winning streak with 'This Ain't No Love Song.'

Adkins' other No. 1 hits include 'Ladies Love Country Boys' and the ballad 'You're Gonna Miss This.' He has also appeared in movies and on television, most notably placing second on the 2008 season of 'Celebrity Apprentice.' He recently announced that he will return to the show for its upcoming All-Stars season.

Taking place June 13-15 at Hunter Mountain in New York, the Taste of Country Music Festival will also feature Lady Antebellum, Willie Nelson, Hunter Hayes, Billy Currington, Montgomery Gentry, Justin Moore, Blackberry Smoke, Joe Nichols, Gloriana, Dustin Lynch and more.
