The 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards are a year away, but they're already starting with a bang. The 70,000 tickets available sold out in 18 minutes.

It's a special awards ceremony, as it's the 50th anniversary of the ACM Awards. Plus, they will be leaving Sin City and setting up shop in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

"I'm so proud of what Texas is for country music," says Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. "It is almost like Friday night football in Texas. It's a tradition. And to be able to have a venue and have it in a market area like that that can celebrate the 50th year of the country music awards is a privilege."

Adds Jones, "When we were building (AT&T Stadium), certainly we wanted a place that the Cowboys could play, but what we want when we can is to have the great events of this country and this is one of them."

The awards show is set for an April 19, 2015 and the Party for a Cause is April 17-18, 2015, at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas.
