There were more than a dozen A-level performances at the 2015 CMA Awards on Nov. 4. Everyone is talking about Justin Timberlake's collaboration with Chris Stapleton, but Thomas Rhett's moment with Fall Out Boy and Keith Urban's set with John Mellencamp also deserve mention.

Hank Williams Jr. and Eric Church started the 49th annual CMA Awards off right, singing "Are You Ready for the Country?" They set a high bar, but singers like Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt and Church (on his own) were happy to try to leap over it, guitar in hand.

Once again the live music overshadowed the actual awards. Few will remember who won Single of the Year (Little Big Town), but everyone will remember Timberlake and Stapleton.
