The 2016 CMA Music Festival is just three months away, and the big lineup is slowly being revealed. This year's event begins on June 9 and runs through June 12 in Nashville. During those four days thousands of country music fans will descend on Music City for live concerts, fan parties and meet and greets.

Thursday night's lineup at the Nissan Stadium stage will include performances by Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert and Rascal Flatts. Fans were first to learn the news through the 2016 CMA Music Festival app. Each Wednesday in March, the lineup for a different Nightly Concert at Nissan Stadium will be announced.

“The fans are the heart of CMA Music Festival,” explains CMA Chief Executive Officer Sarah Trahern in a press release. “Nissan Stadium sells out every year before we announce who will be performing, and it is fitting that those fans who support this event so loyally should be the first to see this outstanding lineup."

All of the stadium events at CMA Festival 2016 are sold out, but fans can still purchase Fan Fair X tickets, which include entrance into free concerts, unique fan experiences and a general admission ticket to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum that is good for use any day in 2016.

Additional 2016 CMA Fest performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Funds made through CMA Music Festival ticket sales will benefit music education. Can't make it to Nashville? The Taste of Country Music Festival also happens in June in New York, followed by Country Jam in Colorado and WE Fest in Minnesota.
