Kenny Chesney is one of the greatest live entertainers of his generation in any genre, and fans lucky enough to score tickets to the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival will get to see him in one of the most beautiful concert settings in North America this June.

The Northeast's premier country music and camping festival takes place June 10-12 at Hunter Mountain in scenic upstate New York, and Chesney is set to light the place up on Saturday night (June 11), bringing a mix of his classic hits and new music to fans who have traveled from all over the country.

The Luttrell, Tenn., native began his career in the early '90s as a traditional hat act, but he's been a chameleon over the years, constantly re-inventing himself and not just responding to trends, but leading them. Chesney broke through with his third album, Me and You, in 1996, and established himself as a big star with “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy" in 1999. He's gone on to create a unique brand in country music, not just offering his fans a string of classic hit songs and albums, but a lifestyle. Chesney's No Shoes Nation comprise one of the most devoted fan bases in country music, and he has built a touring business that has consistently placed him among the biggest live acts across all genres, year after year after year.

The superstar has always been musically restless, mixing laid-back, fun songs including “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems,” “When the Sun Goes Down” and “Out Last Night" with much more serious fare including "The Good Stuff," "There Goes My Life" and "You and Tequila." Fans know they can always rely on Chesney to bring the goods, both on record and onstage.

Chesney will release a new studio album, Some Town Somewhere, on July 8.

“In some ways, this record is more me than anything I’ve done,” he says. “You get into my head, my heart and the way so much of what’s going on around all of us hits me. Taken as a whole, this is a record about seizing life in all its forms: the moments you wish wouldn’t end, the times that make you rethink your priorities, the simple stuff that gives us balance, a few characters at the bar and the hope that it’s all worth doing.”

The album's lead single is “Noise,” which marks the first time Chesney has actively attempted social commentary in song.

“Sometimes you know you’ve got something so timely, so right then, you have to grab it,” he relates. “It seemed like everywhere I turn, everywhere I go, there is so much stuff coming at you. Your phone, your car, on the streets, on TV. Everywhere it’s just so loud, so much, so many different things — all pushing buttons, being sensational, shouting for attention. You can’t escape it, and you can’t turn it down.”

Look for that song and many more in his set when he takes the stage at Hunter Mountain on June 11 at the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival.
