Florida Georgia Line weren't in attendance at the 2014 American Music Awards, but they did make a big showing. The duo 'took home' the prize for the Favorite Band, Duo or Group — Country.

The 'Sun Daze' singers beat out Lady Antebellum and the Eli Young Band for the award, but their win was really no surprise, give the immensely successful year they've had. And while this was Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard's first country win at the American Music Awards, it's not their first AMA trophy.

In 2013, FGL's collaboration with rapper Nelly helped them pocket Single of the Year (a big win for a country act at an all-genre event) for the remixed version of 'Cruise.' Their 2014 award wasn't handed out during the three-hour televised awards show, but that's okay, as it doesn't seem the boys were there anyway. They didn't walk the red carpet or post pictures to social media, showing they were in the audience.

Florida Georgia Line will, however, be present at the inaugural American Country Countdown Awards. At least, they better be -- they're hosting it! The show is based on the very popular radio show that Kix Brooks hosts.

The 2014 American Country Countdown Awards will air live on Monday, Dec. 15 at 8PM ET on FOX.
