Trace Adkins is celebrating an impressive milestone this year: the country superstar is embarking on his 10th USO tour in 13 years.

“I can’t believe I’m about to go out on my tenth USO tour," the singer says. Adkins is a longtime supporter of the U.S. military and their families. He started volunteering with USO, an organization that supports U.S. troops at home at abroad, in 2002.

"It feels like just yesterday when I first went out. No matter how many times I go out, or which countries and bases I visit, it never gets old. As long as they are out there serving our nation and sacrificing their lives ... I’ll continue to tour with the USO," he adds.

To celebrate the special landmark achievement, Adkins is planning to perform five acoustic shows and four full band performances at nine U.S. military bases in three countries over a 10-day period. He will sing at bases in the Middle East and Europe. The exact locations have not been announced because of safety reasons.

Throughout the past 13 years, Adkins has participated in nine USO tours in seven countries, performing for over 40,000 troops and military families. From Afghanistan to Germany to Iraq to Japan, the country star has bolstered the morale and spirits of soldiers across the globe. He is also one of the first American entertainers to perform in the Middle East.
