Meghan Linsey made coach Blake Shelton proud on Monday night's (April 27) episode of The Voice. She went a little out of her comfort zone, opting to sing a classic Beatles song.

The country singer took the stage completely exuding glamor in a very sleek black dress with fancy sleeves. She looked especially feminine with large accent necklace, wearing her blonde hair in a side bun that completed the elegant look. Although her fashion got us roped into the performance, it was really her incredible voice that had us hooked — and we weren't the only ones.

Linsey's voice caught us and held on from the moment she uttered the first line of "Something," and isn't that the goal of the show? The singer stood in between her band as they played on white elevated steps on both sides of her. Shelton seemed very pleased while she sang, swaying to the beat before Linsey stepped out to the middle of the stage. Both he and Adam Levine sang her her praises after she finished singing.

“I love seeing Blake have you do a song that’s not in his wheelhouse,” Levine told Linsey — an unexpected comment for the both team member and the coach.

Shelton called her performance "classy," but that wasn't where the compliments stopped. “Your singing just gets better with every week that goes by," he furthered. "I expect to see you in the finale of the show this year.”

Kelly Clarkson also used Twitter to sing Linsey's praises:

... which was a highlight for The Voice hopeful. "I just DIED!!!!!!!  thank you @kellyclarkson ! I'm seriously in tears, sitting in a van, getting ready to do press," Linsey responded. "Means the world to me!"

The Voice airs weekly on NBC.
