Tyler's song is definitely a bold choice for the iconic rocker. He's chosen to record a rootsy, lyrically earnest track that stands out from everything else that's currently on country radio for his first-ever country single, and so far fans have been responding very well.

Owen has also chosen carefully with "Real Life," the lead single from a forthcoming new studio album. The song is reminiscent of 90s rock in some ways, and Owen is definitely pushing not only himself, but his fans and country radio by issuing it as a single. The song takes a look back at a no-frills childhood that was very simple, but happy despite humble circumstances. Will Owen be able to topple Tyler?
