Tim McGraw unveiled the lyric video for his latest single, “Top of the World,” via the visual supply company VSCO on Thursday (Aug. 27) before it went live to the public on Friday (Aug. 28). It’s a sentimental walk down memory lane, beginning with McGraw in a black-and-white scene with polaroids covering the floor amid speaker cabinets and gear cases. The artist flips through photos of himself and his family, including wife Faith Hill, as he reminisces about his life.

The video reflects the feel of the song perfectly — a content, laid-back tune reflecting on the many blessings life has thrown his way. "We could have somethin' or nothing,” he sings, "we’d still be sittin' on top of the world."

Photos with lyrics scrawled over the images flutter in front of the lens as McGraw croons over the memories, and fans get a real look into McGraw’s personal, emotional side.

McGraw has been on tour lately, treating fans to behind-the-scenes performances and covers, including Luke Bryan’s “Do I.” At a recent show in his hometown of Nashville, he even brought out Hill, daughter Gracie and others to perform with him. The artist released “Top of the World” in tribute to NASA astronauts via Twitter earlier this summer.
