Fans may remember that before Jana Kramer was a country singer, she was an actress on the WB series One Tree Hill. She played a diva starlet alongside actress Sophia Bush, with whom Kramer remains friends and apparently gives the inside scoop on her newest tunes.

Bush tweeted about Kramer’s track from her upcoming album Thirty One, “Said No One Ever,” gushing about how much she loved it and attaching a SoundCloud link for fans to check it out.

The pop-leaning tune features fun lines like, “Wish you’d talk more about yourself (said no one ever) / Treat me to a motel (said no one ever) / Show me your prison cell (said no one ever) / Yeah, love is always real on reality TV … I don’t need your love and affection / Your undivided attention when we’re together (we’re together) / I don’t need to be your one and only, I’m happier when I’m lonely / Don’t want love to last forever / Said no one ever.”

The catchy tune provides fans one more glimpse into the new record, which is set to release Oct. 9. Kramer says the album is a true reflection of who she is at this point in her life, at age 31, hence the title of the record.

“In my mind, 31 shows strength, confidence and grace,” the singer says. “That’s exactly who I feel like I am as a person and what I’ve been through in my life.”

Kramer co-wrote six of the 11 tracks on the album, but she says they are all representative of her personally.

"Sometimes songwriters can just say it better than the way that I said it,” she explains. “So, at the end of the day, whatever song portrays 100 percent the true emotion, that’s going to win, regardless of whether I wrote it or not.”

Thirty One includes a duet with the legendary Steven Tyler called “Bullet."

“He heard the song and wanted to put his vocals on it,” Kramer says. “It’s a really fun song. It’s basically just saying that I dodged a bullet getting out of a relationship. I think we can all relate to that.”

New music isn't all Kramer is working on. She married football player Michael Caussin in May after a whirlwind six-month engagement. The couple announced they were expecting their first child in August, and revealed their baby is a girl later that month.
