Wedding bells are soon to be ringing for country singer Rachele Lynae. The "Quicksand" singer-songwriter revealed the exciting news of her engagement to her fans via Twitter Monday night (Oct. 5) with a photo of her husband-to-be.

"I'M ENGAGED!!!," she writes. "His name is Tim Creedon! He's the love of my life & most amazing man in the world & I'm SO EXCITED!"

Lynae met Creedon, a musician, producer and lighting designer, three years ago when he became the drummer for her band. Creedon hails from Great Falls, Va., and is currently on the road as the lighting director for Sam Hunt.

Lynae gushed about the way Creedon "wooed" her and asked her father for permission to marry her before he popped the question.

"I love that his approach was rather old-fashioned in that he wooed me, won my heart, and then asked for permission from my dad who gave his blessing whole-heartedly, before proposing to me," the singer reveals in a press release.

Lynae moved to Nashville in 2006 to pursue music. Her debut self-titled album was released last year. Her latest single, "Quicksand," was recently pushed to radio.

No date has been set for the big day, but the couple are planning a spring 2016 wedding.
