While Aaron Watson loves all three of his children equally, he has a special place in his heart for daughter Jolee Kate. He reveals that she inspired a very special song of his.

Instilling the values of hard work in all of his kids, 10-year-old Jake, 9-year-old Jack and 7-year-old Jolee Kate, Watson makes sure his little girl knows that she's just as capable of accomplishing anything she puts her mind to.

“Having a little girl is probably the greatest gift that could happen to a man because it makes him look at both sides of the coin,” Watson tells People Country. “I’m thankful for that — it’s affected how I’ve written songs.”

The independent country star penned a beautiful track titled "Diamonds & Daughters" for Jolee on his current album, Vaqueroafter writing "The Underdog" for his two sons, which appeared as the title track of his 2015 project. “When Jolee Kate found out her brothers got a song on the last record, she was hot — I had to promise her that on the next album, she would get her own song," he admits, adding that the song took more than a year to create. “I wanted to be able to tell Jolee that her song is the last track because I saved the very best song for last.”

The country singer has a jam-packed summer and fall season as he continues to hit the road on his 2017 tour in support of the chart-topping Vaquero. He'll cross the U.S. and Canada before the trek wraps up Nov. 2 in Las Vegas.
