Abi Ann is set to premiere her new video for "Truck Candy," but Taste of Country readers are getting an early glimpse of it via this exclusive teaser.

The Midland, Texas native has been performing in her hometown and around Odessa since she was 7 years old, including roles in Les Miserables, Narnia, Winnie the Pooh and A Christmas Carol, which led to a Christmas tour and a number of holiday recordings. The rising young artist has also had two of her songs — "Stronger" and "Silence" — placed in the feature film Hello Herman. The teaser trailer and video for "Silence" has garnered more than two million hits online. Other television and film placements include ION's A Star for Christmas, Diary of an Ex-Child Star and My Dog's Christmas, as well as Debra, a Disney-type show that airs in Canada.

Abi Ann has also performed at some of Hollywood's most prestigious venues, including the world-famous Whiskey a Go Go, House of Blues and the Avalon. She landed a slot on JNFEs' No Bully National Tour, traveling from New York to Florida to bring attention to one of her most passionate platforms, anti-bullying.

Now 18, Abi Ann is currently attending Belmont University in Nashville while continuing to pursue her burgeoning musical career. She recently wrapped up a two-month stint opening for Kelly Clarkson on the road. Her sassy new single, "Truck Candy," addresses the stereotypes of young girls in country music: "If you're looking for a chick that comes in handy / When you want some sugar or your drink is empty / Get somebody else, you can shake it for yourself / I ain't your truck candy."

The video for "Truck Candy" will premiere via Radio Disney on Monday (Sept. 28). Take a look at the exclusive teaser clip above, and keep up with Abi Ann at her official website, or by following her on Twitter and Facebook.
