2012 ACM Award for Male Vocalist of the Year – Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton is the most high-profile artist in this category, with a famous marriage, a spot on 'The Voice' and a five-star album in 'Red River Blue.' His music almost takes a backseat to everything else he's got going on, but he's still amongst the top pure vocalists in country music.

He will win if: Shelton's resume actually stacks up better for the Entertainer of the Year category, but he'll win this award as well if voters recognize the purest vocalist in the group. He's had the radio hits, but his album sales haven't matched many of the others in this category.
