Jason Aldean was the only country male to perform at the Grammy Awards in February. That's a credit to how big he's gotten over the last few years, yet he's yet to be taken seriously in the Male Vocalist category. His concert ticket and CD sales justify a change in 2012.

He will win if: Voters don't play politics. With industry voted-on award shows, having a large support group in the way of a major record label can only help. Aldean's label isn't nearly as big, so he has fewer people naturally on his side. However, other artists -- like Taylor Swift -- have successfully overcome this issue.
