2012 ACM Award for Single Record of the Year – ‘Tomorrow’

This is one of two nominations for Chris Young. He's also in the field for Male Vocalist of the Year, but his more likely win is in this category. The song is the most traditional of the nominees, and once again the singer reminds us that he one of the top vocalists in the genre.

This song will win if: Voters reward Young's allegiance to traditional country music. Few can pack so much emotion into a song without it sounding forced. Perhaps the best compliment to producer James Stroud is that one doesn't notice the surrounding elements. Stroud arranges the instruments and levels to feature the singer.
