2012 ACM Award for Video of the Year – Jason Aldean, ‘Tattoos on This Town’

The video for the fourth single from Jason Aldean's 'My Kinda Party' album tells the story of a small-time boy who joins the military, and in a sudden twist in the action, dies on the battlefield. It's a plot that was difficult to imagine after just listening to the song. Director Wes Edwards has done his best work with Aldean, but has yet to be rewarded for it.

He will win if: Aldean is in a spot Brad Paisley was in five or six years ago. He's consistently getting nominated for major awards, but is rarely able to bring home the hardware. That trend began to change with last year's CMA Awards, and he could be in for a windfall. However, it still feels that the singer is one album away from joining country superstardom, despite what sales figures and ticket sales numbers report.
