If country music gave a Comeback Artist of the Year award, Montgomery Gentry might win at this year's ACM Awards. They duo overcame a divorce, a split from their record label and cancer to chart a surprising Top 10 hit on Colt Ford's record label. 'Where I Come From' is still climbing the charts, and fans are once again excited about what this duo has to say.

They will win if: They get the nostalgia vote. There are few things American voters like better than a good comeback story. It's possible that MoGent is a song or two away from seriously competing in this category again, but that seems more likely at the 2013 ACMs. Few would have said that a year ago.
