The Band Perry are a sneaky underdog in this category. If they were an NCAA team, they'd be Florida -- a team that isn't rated amongst the top teams going into the tournament, but no one wants to play them. It still feels like the sibling trio is an album away from truly being recognized as one of the genre's top vocal groups.

They will win if: Voters vote with their hearts. People love the Band Perry in a way that's enviable. While they've only had three hits (in addition to one quasi-hit and their current single), they are viewed as the next Lady Antebellum, a group that skyrocketed to national fame in a very short amount of time. Few are hotter right now in country music.
