2012 ACM Award for Vocal Group of the Year – Zac Brown Band

The fact that Zac Brown Band has never won the Group of the Year award at either the CMA or ACM Awards is somewhat of a travesty. They've had the hits and draw bigger crowds than any other nominee... except Rascal Flatts. If 'No Hurry' reaches No. 1, it will be their eighth straight chart-topper.

They will win if: ACM voters want to correct this oversight. On paper, the band should have at least two of these awards. The competition is stiffer this year with all four the the other nominees having had high profile years as well. Somehow, ZBB slips under the radar, possibly because there is a perception that they don't really care about major awards.
