It's been reported that the country singer was on his way to a charity event for Ventura County, Calif. when he learned of the news, and immediately he jumped on a plane to get home to Nashville. Kenny Loggins is said to have filled in for the Australian singer at the event, which also included Bruce Jenner and Wayne Gretzky.
