Adriana Louise is a member of Team Christina on 'The Voice,' and while she is a pop singer, she decided to roar through Carrie Underwood's sassy hit 'Good Girl' on tonight's (Nov. 12) performance episode. The song does have its pop-rock sensibilities, so we're not shocked that the fiery tune has been making its way onto reality shows already. We also noticed that when handled by a non-country artist, it can be completely stripped of its twang.

Obviously, Adriana Louise doesn’t have any of Underwood's country twang, so this rendition was certainly devoid of that element. Instead, she focused on the rock elements and turned in a sexy performance, flirting with the judges while she performed. It was quite playful.

She did, however, retain Underwood's firecracker delivery.

Dyed-in-the-wool Carrie Underwood fans will most likely prefer the original, even though this 'The Voice' contestant gave it her all and has an impressive voice.

What did country coach Blake Shelton think of Adriana Louise's rendition? "Well, I've always been a big fan of yours. I am so happy you did a country song and I think you made it your own, so I appreciate that," he said.

We have to agree with Mr. Shelton. While there are no more country contestants competing on Season 3 of 'The Voice,' the genre is still represented beyond superstar Shelton serving as one of its coaches.
