Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood ... 2012 was a great year for superstar albums. Which release was your favorite of the year? The Taste of Country award for Album of the Year is one of the most prestigious of honors. Last year, the win went to Blake Shelton for 'Red River Blue,' and he was just named CMA Entertainer of the Year!

Ten artists are included in this year's category, including new releases from superstars, plus newcomers like Love and Theft and Kip Moore. To qualify, an album must have been released after Jan. 1, 2012. Staff opinion and reader input were used to determine the nominees, in addition to sales figures and single success.
