The case involving the mysterious disappearance of Whitney Duncan‘s cousin Holly Bobo has been heartbreaking, with the confirmation of Bobo’s untimely death just a couple months ago. Now, there is new and significant evidence in this case, which was announced Tuesday (April 29).

Charges have been filed against another suspect in the 2011 murder of Bobo, according to WSMV. A special grand jury met Tuesday in Decatur County and Jason Wayne Autry, 39, was the second suspect charged with the disappearance of the young nursing student.

Authorities announced that Autry was charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and first-degree felony murder, while Zachary Adams, who previously was charged with murder and aggravated kidnapping in the case, was also charged with coercion. They were both longtime friends, according to Mark Gwyn, director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Autry is currently at Riverbend State Penitentiary on an assault charge, due for an arraignment on Wednesday (April 30).

Additionally, Adams’ brother told investigators he saw Bobo alive in Adams’ home after she disappeared, and plans to testify against his brother during trial.

“We believe there are others who have information and may have been involved,” says TBI Director Mark Gwyn at the press conference. “This sends a clear message that we will be knocking on their door.”

Duncan tweeted her thoughts on the new murder suspect:

Bobo was last seen at her home in Parsons, Tennessee on April 13, 2011, as her brother reportedly saw her taken into the woods by a man dressed in camouflage. Bobo’s body has not been found.
