After her beloved dog Rosie went missing, Ashley Monroe was devastated, and while no pup will take her place, Monroe's bestie Miranda Lambert and her organization MuttNation stepped in to help ease the pain. Monroe just took home a new rescue chihuahua named Betty Annie, and it looks like they're already in love.

MuttNation reposted Monroe's adorable photo with her new family member, who is donning a tiny shirt reading "The Princess Has Arrived" and a pink tutu and being showered with kisses from Monroe.

"One angel lost, one angel rescued. Meet Betty Annie Monroe Danks," Monroe captioned her original photo.

Lambert was the one who picked Rosie up back in 2014 while a rescue mission in Oklahoma, according to a photo she posted on Instagram earlier this year. The chihuahua went missing in early April 2016 in Nashville, and Monroe took to Twitter and any other avenue she could find, "begging for help" to find the "love of my life."

Rosie has not been found, but perhaps she will still find her way home. Until then, Monroe and Betty Annie will be forging a new bond together.

MuttNation was founded by Lambert and her mother in 2009 and has since donated thousands of dollars to rescues across the U.S. and raised awareness about homeless pets around the nation. In January 2016, its Mutts Across America: 50 States/50 Shelters initiative enabled the donation of $175,000 to shelters in all 50 states with funds raised throughout 2015. Lambert now has her own line of pet products called MuttNation Fueled by Miranda, a collaboration with PetMate that includes toys, collars, bandanas, bedding and more, all matching Lambert’s country-rocker chic vibe. The line will also benefit animals in need.
