Ashley Monroe recently lived out a dream that began before she was a teenager. The 'Like a Rose' singer played the Ryman Auditorium with Hunter Hayes during a CMT Let's Be Crazy Tour stop. She gets emotional telling her story in this exclusive premiere of the day's behind-the-scenes video.

Monroe first toured the "magical" venue in Nashville when she was 12 years old. She convinced a security guard to let her take the stage and sing 'Blue Moon of Kentucky.'

"The security guard was like, 'You can sing one song and then you're down,'" she told the crowd that night. "And now I get to sing like nine songs … you can't kick me out."

This clip shows highlights from the day, focusing on Monroe as she takes in the experience. Watch as she strums her guitar, alone, on one of the church pews. Backstage, she begins to tear up thinking about how far she's come and the obstacles she's overcome.

"I'm living a dream, in more ways than one," she adds just before the video shows her band taking the stage.
