Congratulations are in order for Ashton Shepherd and her husband Roland Cunningham who welcomed their first daughter to the world on Friday in Demopolis, Ala. Little Raden Delilah weighed in at 7 lbs. 7 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long.

Shepherd confirmed the happy news of her little girl's arrival Friday afternoon via her Twitter page after the web began buzzing. "Hey fans friends and family," the singer tweeted. "BABY RADEN IS HERE!!!! im hurting pretty bad but im so happy. She is beautiful! God is truly great!"

Raden is the second child for Shepherd and Cunningham, who are already the proud parents to their 5-year-old son, James. When Shepherd found out she was expecting, she felt it would be another little boy, but James was hoping for a baby sister. Congratulations to big brother James, who got his wish!

Shepherd's latest single, 'Where Country Grows,' is the title track of her current album on MCA Records. Shepherd co-wrote the tune along with hit singer-songwriter Bobby Pinson. Click here to read the story behind how the two talented songwriters were inspired to write 'Where Country Grows.'
