Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood wed his new wife Kelli Cashiola in a beautiful ceremony April 14 at a private farm just outside Nashville. The wedding demonstrated the couple's classy taste and eye for detail. And yet, the gift that really got a response from the new couple doesn't exactly fall under the umbrella of traditional wedding presents. Traditional or not, though, it scores major points for humor and individuality, not to mention how personalized it is.
Monday (April 30) marks the beginning of the semifinals for NBC's hit singing show 'The Voice.' The music-packed show will feature not only solo performances from the remaining eight contestants, but also one group performance -- a joint show by Team Blake (Shelton) and Team Christina (Aguilera), as well as one by Teams Adam (Levine) and Cee Lo (Green) together.
As classic films like 'Footloose' and 'Dirty Dancing' come rolling off the line in updated versions (with characters who weren't born when the originals were made), some are wondering if 'Grease' might be up next for a remake. The 1978 film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John seems to have all the trappings of a love story just ready for a facelift. And John says she knows exactly who would be the best person to fill her dancing shoes as Sandy: Taylor Swift.
Brad Paisley made an appearance on 'South Park' Wednesday night (April 25) -- sort of. Paisley's voice was intertwined with a cartoon version of himself, and it was about as hilarious as you would imagine.
It looks like Miranda Lambert's Pistol Annies let the blonde starlet's husband in on a photo shoot this week. Blake Shelton made this photo his Twitter pic, and fans quickly tweeted their praises. But Shelton never offered any explanation at all. It's not Halloween, so they could have just been showing off how bad they can truly be (is that a bike under Angaleena Presley's fishnet-clad leg?).
Lady Antebellum know a thing or two about experiencing the perfect day. That's not to say that everything always works out for them, but they've had some pretty stellar days in the past couple of years, what with Grammy Awards, sold out tours and even a couple weddings within the band. In honor of those larger-than-life days, the band just released a new music video to their song 'Perfect Day' from 2010's 'Need You Now.'
Miranda Lambert hails from the Dallas suburb of Lindale, Texas, which is in Cowboy country when it comes to the NFL. Even if she were to go south a bit, we would expect Lambert to be pulling for the Houston Texans. But now, strangely, the 'Over You' singer is actually a shareholder of Wisconsin's Green Bay Packers. We wonder if this will get the southern gal on her feet rooting for a team from the north.
The four celebrity judges for ABC's upcoming show 'Duets' -- Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, Kelly Clarkson, Lionel Richie and Robin Thicke -- have all been scouring the country for dueting partners that they think can stand the heat of the spotlight. And while Kelly Clarkson recently pulled a couple of her top picks on stage with her at a San Diego show, we got a glimpse of a couple videos shot at Nettles' auditions in Las Vegas.
Carrie Underwood is maybe one of the biggest country stars in the US, and now the 'Good Girl' singer is taking her voice, her live show and her upcoming record 'Blown Away' across the pond so that she can conquer UK. Scheduled for her first-ever UK show June 21 at the Royal Albert Hall, Underwood is poised and ready to blow away some Brits and make some new fans.
Octogenarian George Jones has had quite the roller coaster of health news this year. The legendary singer was released from the hospital at the beginning of this month after being treated for an upper respiratory infection. At that point, he planned on jumping back into his tour, but then two weeks ago he had to follow doctor's orders to postpone a set of weekend shows. Still, the 'He Stopped Loving Her Today' singer was determined to jump right back in, assuring his fans that he was on the mend and ready to rock.
