David Nail, ‘Honored and Humbled’ by Grammy Nod, Is Hoping to Release Sophomore Album This Summer

While on the phone with Taste of Country, David Nail starts off the conversation with a candid comment about preparing for what's to come in the next couple weeks: "I just left the gym. I’m trying to get skinny for the Grammys." The 31-year-old Missouri native, now based in Nashville, released his debut record, ‘I’m About to Come Alive,' in 2009. His second single from that set, ‘Turning Home’ (written by Kenny Chesney), has got Nail vying for a Best Male Vocal Country Performance award at the upcoming Grammy Awards on Feb. 13.

David Nail, ‘Let It Rain’ – Song Spotlight

Missouri singer-songwriter and Grammy-nominated artist David Nail (currently up for Best Male Vocal Country Performance for 'Turning Home') has much to look forward to in the coming weeks -- not only the prestigious awards show, but he'll be touring and getting feedback from his fans as new single 'Let It Rain' pours onto the airwaves. The track was co-written by Nail and previous collaborator Jon Singleton, who penned Nail’s first single, 'Red Light,' and offers his voice one of his best arrangements yet.
