Brad Paisley was just one of dozens of musicians who had gear stored at Soundcheck Nashville when the May 2010 floods turned the warehouse into a deadly swimming pool. It was a total loss for artists like Paisley and Keith Urban. Vince Gill also had a lot of his memorabilia stored there, but Paisley told the L.A. Times that Gill's touring gear was safely stored in a truck because he couldn't back into Soundcheck prior to the floods due to heavy rain. Clearly, these men are not complaining as there were thousands of families in far worse condition. When water breached the banks of the Cumberland River, the sound of Nashville was forever changed.
