Banned Country Songs – Carrie Underwood, ‘Before He Cheats’

After then-boyfriend Mike Fisher was traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Nashville Predators, his NHL fans in Canada were upset. So upset, in fact, that one radio station -- 105.3 KISS FM in Ottawa, Ontario -- banned all of Carrie Underwood's songs from the air. In addition to 'Before He Cheats,' the rest of her catalog was tossed in the figurative trash. The catch that most people didn't realize? KISS-FM didn't play Underwood in the first place. They relied on Lady Gaga and Katy Perry to draw fans.
