Even by 1973 standards, the lyrics to 'Would You Lay With Me in a Field of Stone' were not scandalous. What put the song on the banned list was that Tanya Tucker was just 15 years old when she recorded the song. "Would you lay with me, In a field of stone / Should my lips grow dry, should you wet them, dear," she sang.

OK, that is probably more suggestive than the civilized fan of country music is asking for. The song did reach No. 1 after Tucker appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone.
