Billy Currington has announced some of his tour dates for his very first headlining tour, which will take place this spring. The tour will kick off on Saturday, March 24 in Biloxi, Miss. when Currington takes the stage at the Hard Rock Live. The new trek will continue on through the springtime and will also feature Currington's labelmates, David Nail and Kip Moore, filling in the opening act slots.

Luckily for Currington, he has had plenty of opportunities sharing the stage with megastars over the past several years, so he knows how to run the ship for his own headlining trek. Just last year, Currington spent some time on the road with the likes of Kenny Chesney.

"I have learned a lot over the years touring with some of the biggest names in country music," says Currington in a news release about the tour. "I am excited to put that knowledge to use on this tour by giving fans a great show as a thank you for all of their support. It will also be a great way to test out some new music!"

The new music will include some of the tunes Currington has been working on in the studio in recent months for his forthcoming fifth studio album. And fans who attend the shows will be sure to hear some of the singer's biggest chart-topping hits, such as 'People Are Crazy,' 'Pretty Good at Drinkin' Beer,' 'Let Me Down Easy,' and of course his latest single on the rise, 'Like My Dog.'
