Billy Dean vs. Tim McGraw (Feat. Taylor Swift) – The Showdown
Last night, Billy Dean fans were behind one of the biggest Showdown upsets of all time. The singer’s new song ‘I Can’t Leave a Good Thing’ took down ‘1994’ by Jason Aldean on the strength of phone votes at Taste of Country Nights radio. Can Dean knock off another superstar — make that three superstars — on Friday night ?
Tim McGraw‘s collaboration with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban is the song from ‘Two Lanes of Freedom’ that everyone is talking about. Urban adds heavy riffs from his Telecaster, while Swift provides much more than backing vocals. Early fan support has already spawned multiple covers.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online, and again by calling (888) 678-9995. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
