Billy Ray Cyrus may have become famous with his 1992 hit 'Achy Breaky Heart,' but now he's putting out a memoir that suggests he has a heart of a different kind: a 'Hillbilly Heart.' Cyrus' book with the same title is set to release with Amazon Publishing, and it reportedly follows the country singer from his early days growing up in Flatwoods, Ky. through his successful career as a musician and songwriter.

Cyrus, who began singing with his dad's gospel group when he was just 5, will open up in the memoir about his rebellious phase, the baseball career that almost panned out for him until he dropped it to pursue music, and his present life with his daughter Miley Cyrus, who has built a career as a musician and actress in her own right. Speaking of the beliefs that have followed him throughout his life, Cyrus points to a valuable lesson he says he learned from the Bible at a young age.

"I learned early from the Book of Psalms that 'the Truth will be your shield and your buckle,'" he said in a press release. "I've always loved that. You only get one chance to tell your life story. This is my chance to set the record straight. I realized that over the years that there have been untruths and misconceptions about me, my music, my life, my family and our dreams. I'm going to lay out the facts starting from August 25, 1961, and work my way to the present, even if it stings a little."

Though Amazon has yet to announce an official release date for the book, 'Hillbilly Heart' is expected to hit bookstore shelves in hardcover and hit the Internet as an eBook some time in the spring of 2013.
