Country-rockers Gov't Mule have announced an end-of-summer tour to ensure the entire concert season is filled to the brim with good music. The Smokin' Mule 2016 Summer Tour will kick off in August, with Blackberry Smoke hitching a ride on the trek, serving as openers throughout the tour.

The run will feature 10 stops, starting in Portland, Maine, and winding through out the country before wrapping up at the famed Red Rocks Ampitheater in Morrison, Colo.

This will be the first time the two groups have toured together, but they are no strangers to each other's work. In 2014, Blackberry Smoke joined Gov't Mule at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston, Mass., and Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule performed with Blackberry Smoke on stage at 2015's Christmas Jam in Asheville, N.C.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
