Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s Anniversary: Reflecting on a Year of Highs and Lows

Both Named to Most Beautiful Lists

Country music fans already knew Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were among the best looking in the genre, but now it's official. This year, both artists have been put on separate lists that honor a celeb for their physical appearance.

For Shelton, his cover of People Magazine for being country music's hottest guy was his second magazine cover in a matter of months. Prior to the start of season two of 'The Voice,' Shelton appeared on Rolling Stone with his cast-mates. He beat out perennial hot artists like Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney.

Lambert was included in People's most beautiful women of 2012 list among stars like Beyonce and Charlize Theron. Part of the 'Over You' singer's appeal is her confidence in a figure that doesn't conform to the Hollywood-thin expectations for famous women. “All these stars are so tiny, and they spend their lives trying to be skinny. I’m representing normal girls. It’s OK to have a little bit of curve. I’m happy with my body,” she says (quote via CMT). “So many girls come up to me and say, ‘Thank you for being normal,’ and I’m proud of that.”
