Team Blake's Jermaine Paul Wins 'The Voice'

Blake Shelton's team was full of characters, including country spark plug RaeLynn, who the singer and his wife Miranda Lambert took under their wing after she was eliminated from the competition. Lambert even christened her a Pistol Annie, while Shelton fired back at the 17-year-old's critics. It was fun to watch the more introverted Lambert give Team Blake contestants advice during the Battle Rounds. If Shelton comes back for a third season of the reality show, it seems like Lambert would likely join him.

In the end, Jermaine Paul was the most talented and most focused of all members of Team Blake. Week after week he delivered when his name was called. It never seemed like his place in the show's final four was in any doubt, and when he performed 'I Believe I Can Fly' during the last performance show he became the Vegas favorite. OK, you can't legally bet on 'The Voice,' but if you could... On May 9, Paul edged rocker Juliet Simms to be named the show's champion. It was yet another highlight to a great 12 months for Shelton, Lambert and all of their fans.
