For the second year in a row, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were named the Male and Female Vocalists of the Year at the CMA Awards in Nashville. It'd be easy to say that voters were just gravitating to the hot couple in town, but saying that would be an injustice to the hard work and high-quality records each has turned in over the past three years. Shelton and Lambert are truly at the top of their game and have earned every trophy that stands on their shared mantel. In April 2012, the two also made a clean sweep at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas.
