Blake Shelton is a force to be reckoned with! The country singer broke barriers this month when he became the very first country artist to top the Billboard Artist 100 chart.

Shelton released his 'Bringing Back the Sunshine' on Sept. 30, and it debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 Album chart. Then, with help from sales and radio airplay (which his how the list is determined), Shelton made his way to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Artist 100 chart -- a first for a country singer.

Florida Georgia Line's 'Anything Goes' -- released Oct. 14 -- followed Shelton's lead, also landing atop the Billboard Artist 100 chart. This week, Taylor Swift's debut pop album, '1989,' holds the coveted spot.

Shelton is likely hopeful his recent streak of good luck will continue through the CMA Awards in November, as he's nominated for quite a few trophies. His song 'Mine Would Be You' is up for Single of the Year,' and the singer himself is up for Male Vocalist, which he took home in 2013. Oh, and then there's that 'little' nod of Entertainer of the Year. Somehow, we think he's got a pretty good chance. The CMAs air live from Nashville on Nov. 5.
