Blake Shelton and girlfriend Gwen Stefani didn't walk the 2018 ACM Awards red carpet, but they still looked smashing sitting next to each other in the crowd.

Their ensemble was the couple's usual mix of Oklahoma country boy and L.A. pop-rocker. Shelton started in a dark jacket and denim before switching to his performance look: denim on denim with a sapphire blue dress shirt underneath. Stefani wore red all night, melting into a rose-colored short dress that plunged at the neckline, but was held together securely by a fabric choker.

Both were all smiles during the show, and when it came time for Shelton to perform his single "I Lived It," his 48-year-old girlfriend there to sing along like a No. 1 fan.

Don't look now, but the couple will celebrate their three-year anniversary together in 2018. Both Shelton and Stefani were coming off divorces when they met, but they quickly bonded on the set of The Voice. It's not clear how likely marriage is in their future — Stefani recently told Ellen DeGeneres she thinks about it all the time.

In addition to performing "I Lived It" at the ACM Awards, Shelton sang "Should've Been a Cowboy" with Toby Keith. Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton were the big winners of the night, but Carrie Underwood turned in arguably the best performance.
