The Country Music Association just announced a few additions to the lineup for the 2012 CMA Music Festival. The most recently added talents slated to take the big stage at the Tennessee Titans' LP Field include Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson and Brantley Gilbert. This year's biggest night in country music will be taking over Nashville from June 7 through June 10.

These big name crooners are just the icing on the cake, however. As we previously reported, several other hot country acts will be making appearances during the festival, including the Band Perry, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band.

Even with the addition of the five country males today, the lineup isn't complete. The CMA will continue to unroll names of stars who will be offering up performances at the star-studded event. And while that may seem like a huge number of artists, it only makes sense when you consider the fact that Nashville is expecting 60,000 people to descend upon Music City for the summer festival, hoping to catch their favorite celebs in concert, get autographs and simply enjoy the party-packed event.

Tickets for CMA Fest are available online, with prices ranging from $125 to $325 plus handling fees. Perhaps one of the best aspects of buying a ticket, however, is the fact that 50 percent of the net proceeds from the event go toward supporting the Keep the Music Playing program. If you don't have tickets yet, Taste of Country and EMI are giving you the chance to win a trip to see Alan Jackson perform live at CMA Fest. The contest ends on April 3 at 5PM ET, so be sure to enter soon.
