Jason Aldean Becomes ‘Boston Strong’ for All-Star Benefit Concert

Country's own Jason Aldean is among the performers announced for the upcoming Boston Strong concert, which is slated to take place at TD Garden on May 30. The concert is being held to benefit victims of the recent Boston Marathon bombings.

Aldean will join an all-star lineup that includes Aerosmith, Boston, Jimmy Buffett, Dane Cook, Extreme, J. Geils Band, Godsmack, Carole King, New Kids on the Block, James Taylor and comedian Steven Wright, as well as other special guests to be announced.

Proceeds from the concert will go to the One Fund, which Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino announced to "help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013." So far, the fund has raised more than $28,000,000 through private and corporate donations.
