In December 2010, Brad Paisley released 'This Is Country Music' as the lead single to his upcoming 2011 studio album, in stores on April 19. He has been in the studio the last few weeks working on that album, and we're hearing there will be a collaboration on the new record that's been a secret ... until now.

The star reportedly got a legendary country group to play on one of his new tunes. The song is about a girl who only 'gets in the mood' when she hears something from Alabama, so it made sense that Paisley got the guys themselves -- Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook -- on it. They all did their parts separately last week in Nashville.

Paisley recently posted a picture on his Twitter account of what he was up to in the studio, writing, “Here's a song off the new record. Don’t know how it sounds but it LOOKS fantastic!” Then he added,"The mixing of the album 'ThisIsCountryMusic' has begun. Right now it's more like 'ThisIsGoingToBeCountryMusicEventually.'"

Paisley kicked off his H2O Frozen Over Tour in Green Bay, Wisc. recently and, as previously reported, the country star will have his first major book, ‘Diary of a Player: How My Musical Heroes Made a Guitar Man Out of Me,’ out this spring.
