Brad Paisley brought some country class to tonight's episode of 'The Voice,' performing 'Don't Drink the Water.' While Paisley graciously showed up to entertain the live and home audiences and to support his buddy and tourmate, coach Blake Shelton, he also got an assist from Shelton -- 'cause that's what country artists do!

Paisley sang the first verse and chorus of 'Don't Drink the Water' by his own talented self, and then called Shelton out by name from the stage. Shelton was sitting in his high-backed, red space chair cradling a microphone, and sang a bar while seated before making his way to the stage. He even gave fellow coach Christina Aguilera a shout out on his way up.

The Paisley/Shelton duet -- which is an album track on Paisley's latest release -- had the crowd, which is used to lots of pop ditties, grooving and clapping in their seats. Shelton was working overtime on tonight's episode, performing with both Dia Frampton and with Paisley. While Aguilera supposedly earns the biggest salary of all the coaches, Shelton deserves a raise, especially since his protege Frampton is the odds-on favorite to win the whole thing.

Once again, we love seeing country music represented on a national, mainstream stage like that of 'The Voice.'
