Brad Paisley is headed to Ft. Worth, Texas, this weekend to help kick-off another season of college football.

ESPN’s College GameDay has invited Texas schools to Sundance Square in Ft. Worth to celebrate the first night of the season. Fans from all around the Lone Star State, as well as fans of the two teams featured in that night’s ABC Saturday Night Football matchup, Wisconsin and Alabama, will take over the square and show their team spirit.

Paisley is scheduled to perform his new single, "Country Nation," during the Saturday (Sept. 5) season-opening telecast (9AM – noon ET), so even if you can't make it all the way down there, you can still feel like you're a part of the crowd.

This isn't Paisley's first gig with College GameDay. Last season he served as a guest picker when the show broadcasted from his home state of West Virginia.

It seems like Paisley must really be itching to go back to school. In addition to kicking off college football, the 42-year-old country star will hit four of the biggest college campuses in the U.S. to play free shows as a part of the Country Nation College Tour. The tour starts Sept. 6 with a stop at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Va., and make its way to the University of Texas, Baylor University and the University of Arkansas the following weekend.
