Brad Paisley's new song "Crushin' It" squeaked by the latest from Maddie & Tae over the weekend. "Fly" garnered a healthy total — perhaps even enough for a return Showdown visit — but ultimately fell a few votes short. Paisley's latest from the Moonshine on the Trunk album will move on to face a new challenger today and Tuesday.

Eric Church's next single from the Outsiders is the album's buzz song. It's a slow, sexy love ballad that many didn't think Church was capable of. Honestly, it's a song few are capable of. But is it a Monday morning kind of song? "Like a Wrecking Ball" will need to be if it is going to avoid falling behind early to Paisley's next hit.

Listen to clips of both the Paisley’s and Church’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Wednesday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Wednesday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
