Brad Paisley's No. 1 album 'Wheelhouse' is perhaps his most intriguing album yet, thanks to the collaborations he included. Rapper LL Cool J had a prime spot on the album -- the song 'Accidental Racist' sparked much controversy -- but Paisley admitted there's another rapper he's thought about teaming up with... and it probably wouldn't go over too well in the country music scene.

The 'Southern Comfort Zone' singer told Country 925 that Kanye West is one especially controversial star he'd be interested in working with.

"I toyed with approaching Kanye with something, but I don't know if our camp would go for that," Paisley dished, laughing. "Our format... might still be mad at him, I don't know."

West famously stormed the stage at the 2009 Video Music Awards as Taylor Swift was making her acceptance speech, embarrassing the pop-country songstress and effectively creating one of the most famous entertainment jaw-droppers of all time.

After thinking about it for a minute, Paisley changed directions. "Maybe -- or Jay-Z's great," he clarified.

It's probably just as well that the singer left his future collaborations open-ended, but if there's one thing he's not afraid of, it's stirring up conversation. Fans will just have to wait and see if Paisley will follow through on working with the 'Gold Digger' rapper, or if he'll choose to keep the peace with fellow country star Swift.
