Brad Paisley is releasing a new CD and DVD just in time for the holidays. The country singer's new live concert DVD and CD, Life Amplified World Tour: Live at WVU, debuts on Friday, Dec. 23, sending him back to his native West Virginia for a special outdoor concert at West Virginia University.

The DVD captures the spirit of the special show on Paisley's most recent tour, which was filmed in front of a crowd of 15,000 people.

"I am so pleased to be partnering with Brad on the WVU show," DVD Director and CEO of City Drive Films Daniel E Catullo III says in a press release. "Being an alumnus of WVU this show is very special for me. To be able to bring WVU to the world stage is something I am proud to do and I couldn't think of a better artist to do it with than Brad, who has similar feelings of WVU, having grown up not too far from the campus. It has been a dream of mine to go back to WVU and put on a huge show, free for the students."

The concert is also set to air on PBS on Friday, Jan. 27 in a show titled Brad Paisley -- Landmarks Live in Concert: A Great Performances Special. Just some of the songs included in the set list are hits like "Mud on the Tires," "Then," "Online" and a duet of  "I'm Still a Guy" with Chris Young. Paisley also sings a special rendition of John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads," an anthem for WVU.

Paisley recently announced he's extending the successful tour into 2017, with multiple dates in February, kicking off Feb. 1 in Canada.
